The Scottish Emergency Heating Oil Scheme is delivered by Advice Direct Scotland.
The scheme aims to support vulnerable households with the increased cost of oil or LPG for heating.
If you get a means-tested benefit or you are in financial hardship and have additional vulnerabilities, you may be able to get support. Please note that payments are made to your supplier.

Once you have applied they say there is no need to reach out if you have not heard from them. They are dealing with a very high number of enquiries and will be in touch soon!
They also kindly ask that you ensure you have provided all the evidence needed to support your application.
The scheme is scheduled to run until the 30th September 2026 so you will need to make sure to apply before this deadline.
