Become a Trustee – Application Forms

Westray Development Trust Trustees (Directors) play a vital role in leading the Trust and deciding how it is run.

Being a Trustee means making decisions that will impact on people’s lives and make a difference to our island community on Westray.

Trustees use their skills and experience to support the Trust, helping WDT achieve its aims. Trustees also often learn new skills during their time on the board.

Trustees meet on the first Thursday of every month with the staff team.

To be eligible to stand as a WDT Trustee you must;

  • Be a member of Westray Development Trust. Click here for the membership application form.

  • Not have an unspent conviction for an offence involving dishonesty or deception (such as fraud).
