More than food
The Foodbank works closely with THAW Orkney, Starter Packs Orkney and other local agencies. They can provide advice and support around issues such as low income, poverty and debt, and can make referrals to other organisations where appropriate.
Kate Brown is the best contact for advice and support of this kind.
Everything is handled as confidentially as possible, and no one will be referred to another organisation without their agreement.
If you are struggling, please don’t hesitate to ask for help. There is support available, and you don’t have to deal with things on your own.
