Our Project Evaluation Group will be meeting soon to discuss and score the next batch of Community Grant applications. Applications must be with the team before the 30th of September 2026.
Community grants are available for one-off project costs and is to be used to supplement existing funding for projects not be the sole funder. Grants will fund a maximum of 80% of the total cost of the project. Community Grants will be available until June 2027 or until the pot empties.
All of Westray Development Trust Grants are available thanks to the income from the Westray Community Turbine. As the turbine has not generated for almost two years there will be no Grant Funding available in our next financial year which will be July 2027- June 2028.
