Voluntary Action Orkney has identified that there are some “older” people who are keen on starting a new initiative called Orkney Voices. It aims to create a forum for older people where they can express their concerns and talk to different statutory bodies about possible solutions.
The best way to start is by asking people themselves if this is something that the senior members of Orkney would want.
They have prepared a short post-card questionnaire which will be available in the shops, Kirks and Kalisgarth. If you want to complete one, please return it to the box in the shop and the Trust will mail them to VAO.
